Union's New Air Jordan 4 Collabs Drop This Month

In March, pioneering streetwear store Union Los Angeles announced that it would be celebrating its 30th anniversary this year with several collaborations including new projects with both Jordan Brand and Nike. Early leaks are now indicating that the former will include two new versions of the Union x Air Jordan 4.

First released last year in Off-Noir and a Union-exclusive Guava Ice, the revamped Air Jordan 4 is now expected to drop in two additional styles: Desert Moss/Turquoise Blue/Dark Iris and Taupe Haze/Blue Fury/Khaki/Roma Green.

Like the 2020 versions, these pairs feature modified constructions, adding mesh Air Jordan 4’s traditional uppers as well as other minor tweaks. Unlike the previously released pairs, these new colorways notably do not use contrasting colors on the heel collar, instead opting for accents at the bottom eyelets, tongue logo, liner, and heel tab. Also unique to these pairs are new multicolor shoelaces.

As of now, sneaker leak account @pyleaks is reporting a Summer 2021 release date and a retail price of $225 each. Check back soon for official details.

UPDATE (05/28): Union has unveiled its latest capsule with Jordan Brand titled “Tent and Trail,” and at the center of the project is a new set of Union x Air Jordan 4s arriving in the “Desert Moss” and “Taupe Haze” colorways. According to the store, both iterations of the shoe are inspired by outdoors and mountain gear from the late ‘80s and early ‘90s featuring similar hues and materials from the aforementioned time period. Both pairs are confirmed to release in June with the “Desert Moss” iteration dropping at Union and via SNKRS while the “Taupe Haze” makeup will launch exclusively through Union. UPDATE (06/09): Union confirms that its new Air Jordan 4s will release later this month via raffles. The Union-exclusive “Taupe Haze” pair will launch online on June 20 with an in-store release on June 20 and June 21. The collection’s “Desert Moss” colorway will be available from Union and the Nike SNKRS app. Both sneakers retail for $225.
